The dinners, overpriced overproduced industry events, the constant “we should connect!” I understand relationships matter, but sometimes it feels like having a career in weddings requires maintaining a second career in being socially visible. And I just don’t want one. I’d rather keep whatever little piece of a personal life I can outside of this already very demanding job.
