These people didn’t gain a large following because their photography was especially admired...they got really good at being a brand online. Opinions, being hot, education, offers, personality, entertaining content, whatever. And being good at the internet is a skill!! I just think social media has made being visible and being respected for your work feel way more connect than they actually are.
