If you’re hiring a full planning team, make sure they have an assistant who can be close by at all times. If they don’t they’re not really full planning. I can’t tell you how many luxury, full planning teams are focused on everything else for the beginning hours of the day and as a photographer I’m having to do their job (wrangle family, grab your bouquet, communicate to wedding party where they need to be and when, grab this, grab that— really anything that takes me away from documenting!).
