While I understand getting ghosted is part of the game, I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t bum me out at times. Especially after emailing, a call, a custom proposal, and genuinely investing energy and intention. And yes, this still happens even with starting rates on my website. Yeah, they don’t owe me a response. But I do think disappearing mid conversation has become really normalized in general. No response is a response, sure!! But on a personal level, I still find it not cool or considerate
