There’s value in sharing your personality, taste, values, and point of view. But lately it feels like being good at the work isn’t enough. Now you also have to be interesting all the time. At some point “get to know me” turned into “keep watching me.” I’d rather connect through someone’s work than feel like I need a subscription to their personality. Has personal branding went too far?
