The preparation, emails, calls, revisions, travel, childcare, troubleshooting, missed sports games and “regular” weekends. The physical toll, plus what I have to do to prepare and repair my body so I can keep doing this well. I’m not complaining...I chose this work. But pricing something this involved isn’t as simple as hourly rates or line items. It’s also about what’s necessary on my end and what it takes for me to consistently execute at my best.
