For the family photo location, I prioritize logistics, space, lighting, consistency, and a clean background. Sometimes the perfect spot doesn’t exist and it’s, “this’ll do.” Yesterday, halfway through the family shot list, the planner tells me we need to move because they chose the venue for the greenery. We’d been shooting in nature ALL day. I had 10 minutes left, guests were arriving, and she’d been standing there the entire time. Wtfff. What would you do?
